History of Banner Lodge

Founded by Jack Banner in 1922, Banner Lodge epitomized the mountain and countryside resort era between the 1930s through to the 1970s. Over 700 vacationers a day, including celebrities and elite alike, came to enjoy the country charm and relaxed atmosphere of Banner Lodge. It quickly became the place to see and be seen, while attracting visitors from New York City, Connecticut, and surrounding states.
